Escape the Cave Creature is a quest with a boss called the Crystal Colossus. Completing this quest rewards each participant with 31 gold, 200 experience, and 3 Rock eggs. Additional Rock eggs also become available in the Market for 3 gems each.
Availability & Cost:
It was released on February 17, 2015, and has been continuously available ever since. The quest scroll can be purchased from the Quest Shop for 4 gems. It is also part of the Oddballs quest bundle, which is only sometimes available but contains three different quests for only 7 gems.
Difficulty & Length:
The Crystal Colossus's HP of 400 makes this a short quest, and the strength multiplier of 1.5 gives it a base difficulty of "easy". Without using Warrior or Mage boss damaging skills, a four-person party typically takes less than two weeks to finish this quest. This is a recommended quest for lower level (less than level 25) characters and smaller parties.
Description[]
Crossing Habitica's Meandering Mountains with some friends, you make camp one night in a beautiful cave laced with shining minerals. But when you wake up the next morning, the entrance has disappeared, and the floor of the cave is shifting underneath you.
The mountain's alive! shouts your companion @pfeffernusse.
These aren't crystals - these are teeth! @Painter de Cluster grabs your hand.
We'll have to find another way out – stay with me and don't get distracted, or we could be trapped in here forever!

You stoop to pick it up, and see that it’s a small rock with a vein of gold running through it. Beside it are a number of other rocks with rather peculiar shapes. They almost look like… eggs?"
