In Cosplay, a portmanteau of "costume" and "play", participants wear costumes and accessories to represent a specific character or idea (Wikipedia). In Habitica, this can be done using costumes, avatar customizations, pets, and mounts. Note, however, that none of the armor sets, weapons, or pets are based directly on any of the characters; They can be assembled to look like them. This page demonstrates some examples, which are entirely based on fan designs. Add your own or join us in the Costume Carnival guild, where the idea of cosplay in Habitica became popular.

Finding Equipment and Building Blocks
All of the equipment, pets, mounts, backgrounds, skins, hair, and other avatar customization options that can possibly be available to a player can be seen on these pages:
- Equipment Table (all gear of all types). Past Grand Gala gear will be available when the Seasonal Shop is open.
- Mystery Items require a subscription. Past Mystery Items can be obtained with a Mystic Hourglass.
- Exclusive Steampunk Sets.
- Enchanted Armoire equipment and accessories become available once you've earned the Ultimate Gear achievement.
- Unconventional Armor.
- Pets (includes special pets). Pet quests can be purchased with gems.
- Mounts (includes special mounts).
- Avatar Customizations include body sizes, skins, hair, shirts, and extras (wheelchairs, hair flowers, earrings, headbands, some glasses, some animal ears, and some animal tails). Some avatar customization options cost gems, and some can only be bought during Grand Galas. Not all glasses, animal ears, and animal tails are extras, but all are equipment and can be seen in the Equipment Table.
- Backgrounds can be purchased with gems.
- Transformation Items can be purchased with gold during Grand Galas and used to temporarily transform avatars.
- Item Availability shows which things are or were available during which times. This includes retired items.

White Walkers[]
You can create several different versions of White Walkers. The Ghost skin (Supernatural Skins) and the blue skin (Basic Skin c3e1dc) are both excellent options along with the Ghost White hair (Haunted Colors), the Snowy hair (Wintery Colors), the White hair (Basic Colors), the Shimmer Blue hair (Shimmer Colors), or the Pastel Blue hair (Spring Fling 2014 Limited Edition Pastel Hair Colors).
The Yeti-tamer Robe and Yeti-tamer Spear (Warrior Winter Wonderland gear) makes a great outfit, but other white, grey or brown leather clothing and armor will do as well. Other Swords and Spears can also be used in the cosplay (e.g. the Ice Spike (Rogue Winter Wonderland gear) can be used as weapons.
Most White Walkers love zombie mounts, but the White Walkers in the books sometimes ride Giant Ice Spiders, so a Skeleton, Blue or White Spider Mount can be used for that.
