A quest line is a series of two to four quests, typically three, which must be completed in order. In many cases, on completion of one quest, the quest owner will receive a quest scroll for the next quest in the series (or the ability to buy the next scroll in the series).
Legendary Equipment Quest Lines
Legendary Equipment are high-powered equipment pieces that are obtainable only from quests.
Vice Quest Line
The Vice quest line was the first quest line to be released. It was released on February 1, 2014 and unlocks at level 30. Players who had reached level 30 at release received the starting quest scroll Free Yourself of the Dragon's Influence immediately; other players receive this once they reach level 30.
Quests
The Vice quest line consists of Free Yourself of the Dragon's Influence, Find the Lair of the Wyrm (collection quest) and Vice Awakens. On completion of each of the first two quests, the quest owner receives a scroll for the next part. Quest scrolls can also be purchased from the Quest Shop for 4 gems if you have reached level 30 and completed the previous part.
Rewards
The main reward from this quest line is the Legendary Equipment Stephen Weber's Shaft of the Dragon which has an equipment bonus of +25 Strength and +25 Perception. In addition, you'll receive 2 shade hatching potions and 2 dragon eggs alongside gold and experience rewards.
Attack of the Mundane Quest Line
The quest line was released on August 12, 2014 and unlocks at level 15, the lowest level of any Legendary Equipment quest line. Players who had reached level 15 at release received the starting quest scroll Dish Disaster immediately; other players receive this once they reach level 15.
Quests
The Attack of the Mundane quest line consists of Dish Disaster (collection quest), The SnackLess Monster, and The Laundromancer. On completion of each of the first two quests, the quest owner receives a scroll for the next part. Quest scrolls can also be purchased from the Quest Shop for 4 gems if you have reached level 15 and completed the previous part.
Rewards
The main reward from this quest line is the Legendary Equipment Nameless Helm which has an equipment bonus of +25 Strength and +25 Intelligence. You will also receive 2 Base hatching potions .
Recidivate Quest Line
The most challenging quest line in the game, the Recidivate quest line was released on October 23, 2014 and unlocks at level 60. Players who had reached level 60 at release received the starting quest scroll The Moonstone Chain immediately; other players receive this once they reach level 60.
Quests
The Recidivate quest line consists of The Moonstone Chain (collection quest with 100 items to collect), Recidivate the Necromancer, and Recidivate Transformed. The final boss Necro-Vice is a undead incarnation of Vice, the final boss from the Vice quest line with a whopping 2000 Health Points and 3.5 Strength. On completion of each of the first two quests, the quest owner receives a scroll for the next part. Quest scrolls can also be purchased from the Quest Shop for 4 gems if you have reached level 60 and completed the previous part.
Rewards
The main reward from this quest line is the Legendary Equipment Jean Chalard's Noble Tunic which has an equipment bonus of +25 Constitution and +25 Intelligence.
The Golden Knight Quest Line
The last Legendary Equipment quest line to be released, the Golden Knight quest line was released on November 12, 2014 and unlocks at level 40. Players who had reached level 40 at release received the starting quest scroll A Stern Talking-To immediately; other players receive this once they reach level 40.

On completion of each of the first two quests, the quest owner receives a scroll for the next part. Dilatory Distress Quest Line
The first gold purchasable quest line, the Dilatory Distress quest line, was released on July 14, 2015. These quests are available for purchase at the Quest Shop at any level. The Mystery of the Masterclassers Quest Line
The fifth gold purchasable quest line, The Mystery of the Masterclassers, was released October 13, 2017. These quests are available for purchase at the Quest Shop at any level, but to unlock the ability to buy the first scroll one have to complete the other four gold purchasable quest lines. There are four pieces of equipment and a mount rewarded in this quest line. Unlike Legendary Equipment quests, completing one part does not reward a scroll for the next part. Instead, the ability to purchase the next part is unlocked in the Quest Shop.

The Mystery of the Masterclassers consists of Read Between the Lines (collection quest), which costs 400 gold to purchase; Assembling the a'Voidant (boss quest), which costs 500 gold to purchase; City in the Sands (rage boss quest), which costs 600 gold to purchase; and The Lost Masterclasser (rage boss quest), which costs 700 gold to purchase.
Rewards
There are four pieces of equipment and a mount rewarded through this quest line. Assembling the a'Voidant drops the Aether Mask; City in the Sands drops the Aether Amulet; and The Lost Masterclasser drops the Aether Cloak, Aether Crystals, and Invisible Aether Mount. Other Quest Lines
Trapper Santa Quest Line
The first quests of the game, the Trapper Santa quest line was released on December 25, 2013 and the quests are available for purchase at the Quest Shop at any level during the Winter Wonderland event from the Seasonal Shop for 4 gems each. Unlike the Legendary quest lines, the quest owner does not receive the second quest scroll for Find the Cub after you complete the first quest, Trapper Santa. However you can purchase and use the Find the Cub scroll without doing the Trapper Santa quest first.
Quests
The Trapper Santa quest line has two quests rather than the usual 3 for quest lines. The first is Trapper Santa (first boss quest of the game) and the second is Find the Cub (first collection quest of the game).
Rewards
On completing Trapper Santa you'll receive a rare polar bear mount, and on completion of Find the Cub you'll receive a rare polar bear cub pet.
Lunar Battle Quest Line
The Lunar Battle quest line was released on November 23, 2016 as part of the Daily Check-In Incentives feature. The quests are unlocked after a player checks in to Habitica for certain numbers of days. Unlike Legendary Equipment quests, completing one part does not reward a scroll to the quest owner for the next part. The next scroll can only be unlocked by checking in for the necessary number of days.
Quests
The Lunar Battle quest line consists of Find the Mysterious Shards (collection quest), which is unlocked on Day 7, Stop the Overshadowing Stress (boss quest), which is unlocked on Day 22, and The Monstrous Moon (boss quest), which is unlocked on Day 40.
Rewards
In addition to achievement badges, experience points, and gold points, there are three pieces of equipment rewarded through this quest line. Find the Mysterious Shards drops the Lunar Warrior Helm, Stop the Overshadowing Stress drops the Lunar Warrior Armor, and The Monstrous Moon drops the Lunar Scythe.
