The Call of Octothulu is a quest with a boss known as Octothulu. Defeating this boss will unlock the Octopus Quest Pet. The quest scroll can be purchased from the Quest Shop for 4 gems.
Octothulu's HP (1200) makes this a long quest and its strength multiplier (2.5) makes this a hard quest. Without using Warrior or Mage boss damaging skills, a four-person party can typically finish this quest in about four weeks. The high difficulty means missed Dailies will cause higher amounts of damage to the group; having a Healer in the party is highly recommended.
Description
@Urse, a wild-eyed young scribe, has asked for your help exploring a mysterious cave by the sea shore. Among the twilight tidepools stands a massive gate of stalactites and stalagmites. As you near the gate, a dark whirlpool begins to spin at its base. You stare in awe as a squid-like dragon rises through the maw. "The sticky spawn of the stars has awakened," roars @Urse madly. "After vigintillions of years, the great Octothulu is loose again, and ravening for delight!"

Trivia
Urse's quote is an parody/homage to The Call of Cthulhu, a story by H.P. Lovecraft about a more famous tentacled beast who slumbers for vigintillions of years, and awakes ravening for delight. A vigintillion years is 10^63, or a million million million million million million million million million million millennia.
