Thanksgiving Day in the US (affectionately called "Turkey Day") is a holiday during which a traditional turkey dinner is shared with family and friends. The first Habitica Turkey Day was celebrated in November 2013.

2016Edit

On November 22, 2016, Bailey announced:

Happy Habitica Thanksgiving!
It's Thanksgiving in Habitica! On this day Habiticans celebrate by spending time with loved ones, giving thanks, and riding their glorious turkeys into the magnificent sunset. Some of the NPCs are celebrating the occasion!
Turkey Pet and Mount!
Everyone has received an adorable Turkey! What kind of Turkey? It all depends on how many Habitica Thanksgivings you've celebrated with us. Each Thanksgiving, you'll get a new and exciting Turkey variety!

According to the Event Item Sequence people who celebrated their first Habitica Turkey Day in 2016 received a Turkey Pet, those who celebrated their second Turkey Day received a Turkey Mount, those who celebrated their third Turkey Day received a Gilded Turkey Pet, and those who celebrated their fourth Turkey Day received a Gilded Turkey Mount!

NPC Costume ChangeEdit

The NPCs again dressed in fall-colored costumes for the occasion.

On November 25, 2015, Bailey announced:

Turkey Pet and Mount!
Those of you who weren't around last Thanksgiving have received an adorable Turkey Pet, and those of you who got a Turkey Pet last year have received a handsome Turkey Mount! Already got a Turkey Mount? You, my friend, have been gifted the rare and glittering Gilded Turkey Pet!

A Turkey Pet was given to all the users who celebrated their first Turkey Day. Users who had received the Turkey Pet last year and celebrated their second Turkey Day received a Turkey Mount, which can be found in the Inventory under Rare Mounts.

On November 28, 2013 Habitica celebrated the first annual Turkey Day.

A Turkey Pet was given to all players on this day, and it can be found in the Inventory under Rare Pets. This pet can not be fed or raised into a mount.
